A man (41) allegedly took his life at Karasburg on Sunday.
//Kharas crime investigations coordinator deputy commissioner Nicodemus Mbango said the deceased was identified as Pius Johannes Swartbooi, and his next of kin have been informed.
Swartbooi’s body was found by a family member around 07h20 on Sunday.
Mbango said family members reported that Swartbooi had previously mentioned his intention to take his own life.
“No foul play is suspected, and no suicide note was left behind,” he added.
Police investigations continue.
