JS Academy regained the top spot of the Women’s Super League (WSL) after they beat Okahandja Beauties 2-1 on Saturday.
Beauties scored the first goal in the 43rd minute through a header from Juliana Skrywer who connected with a brilliant cross from Thomalina Adams.JS Academy’s reply came from Zenatha Coleman in the 55th minute after she managed to beat defender Susana Eises to score. The second goal for JS Academy came from Vistorina Shakulu five minutes later.In their match on Sunday, JS Academy beat Challengers 11-0 to put their points total at 25 after 10 matches.Beauties recovered from their loss on Saturday to thrash Poly Babes 5-1 the next day. They are now second on the log, just one point behind JS Academy with 24 points.Poly Babes are third on the log after they picked up 3 points in their 4-1 win over 21 BDE United on Saturday before succumbing to Beauties on Sunday. Poly Babes have 21 points after 10 matches. 21 BDE United are fourth with 10 points after they picked up three points over the weekend. They lost their first match to Poly Babes but went on to beat Unam Bokkies on Sunday 1-0.Fifth on the log are Bokkies with nine points.
