Some of us grew up alone. No older brother or sister to show us the way. We had to embark on life’s adventures by ourselves so no one really helped to mould us into the people we are today. Sure, there are those people who you appreciate for having been around sometimes, but no one really understands us.

Being so different, simply not caring what people thought of us and preferring to be ourselves. Sometimes we put aside the fact that the only people in this world that actually make us tick either in happiness or sadness are our families.

Of course, like anybody else, we sometimes feel like a nuisance, but it might be that we think life would be so much better without us. On a serious note, sometimes we wonder if people would even miss us.

Still not understanding why people don’t treat others the same way that they are treated. Is it really that hard? Not understanding why some people are not grateful for what they are given from others.

Some always have to count on how much was spent. Not caring and not taking into account how much heart was put into gathering what was given to them. Why are there people like that in the world? We understand one cannot control others, though one can’t help but observe and question these factors. Life is not what one bargains for. Life is actually quite tough.

It’s sad how one can’t choose their destiny. You’re given what you are given. If one’s unlucky enough to have been given an absent non-caring person in their lives, then that’s it, my friend. No refunds are offered.

It’s your decision to learn something from what you encounter in difficult situations, whether good or bad. This world is filled with evil. This world is filled with untrustworthy people, people one can’t rely on. There are so many fakes in this world.

Emotionless rocks is what many become and many create a sanctuary for their feelings. Why give someone your full heart just to give them the opportunity to damage and eventually destroy it?

Some say it’s better to rather keep that heart to themselves. It’s going to be so hard to find true love in the future. Major trust issues dictate relationships and people are just so skeptical on finding another person just like them. There is no sense in trying to put one’s all out there for someone else.

Are you a loner? Don’t be sad. Maybe many of us were made already whole without needing to find their missing half.
