Even though drought has taken its toll on some communal farmers, others like Hoogvertoon Boer goat Stud of Kola and Anet Steyn continued to invest in good quality livestock and will sell some of their top breeds during their annual production auction on 24 October at Goreis near Koes.
On sale will be 15 Boer got rams, 40 Boer goat ewes, 25 Van Rooy rams, 30 White Dorper rams and 40 Dorper rams.
