Influencer and musician hosts business seminar

DIFFERENT CELEBRATION … S Vida will be hosting a business market seminar at Ondangwa next week.

As part of her birthday celebrations, local influencer, therapist and artist Sirkka Kashidinge, better known as ‘S Vida’, will be hosting a business marketing seminar at Ekamuti Lodge at Ondangwa on 6 April.

She says she plans to host this event annually on her birthday.

“Last year I went for charity where I bought food for homeless and vulnerable children. Previous years I went to villages and donated some belongings I’m no longer using.

“I identify parents who struggle with their children’s school needs, and support them where I can,” S Vida says.

This year, she says, she made the bold decision to step outside of her comfort zone and concentrate on helping entrepreneurs reach their target market.

She says the goal of her business marketing seminar is to draw in more business people than attendees, because live-streaming would enable access to a wider audience.

“Every year I celebrate my birthday in a different way. This year I decided to empower the small business people as a way of giving back to the nation,” S Vida says.

Promoting and marketing enterprises to help them reach their target consumers is the goal, she says.

“I was driven to come up with the initiative after always having small and medium business owners coming to me to help them promote their businesses, since they believe I am influential.

“It’s very hard to market businesses one by one. That’s how I came up with this event so everyone can just come and showcase what they do and reach their target market,” she says.

The event’s motto is ‘No Business is Small Unless it is Not Well Marketed’, she says.

S Vida says various business people would introduce their companies at the event, allowing attendees to learn from them.

“It will not be a formal night. People will network, dance and dine together, because at the end of the day it is my early birthday celebration.”

Additionally, DJ Sebby Lowcut, James K and Samuel Shines will perform at the event.

“Marketing is essential for both small and large businesses. We as business people need to learn to spend more money on marketing,” S Vida says.

Django Technologies and StarKing Studio are the event’s sponsors. Contact S Vida at +264 81 665 3539 for more information.
