Havana youth launches crime-prevention campaign

ALFRED FORBESYOUNG men and women on Thursday came together to launch the Community Watch initiative at Windhoek’s Havana informal settlement as a crime-prevention strategy.

The initiative is backed by the Namibian Police and the Windhoek City Police.

It aims to lower crime in various areas in Windhoek, and to empower young people, as it would keep them engaged.
