INTERNET search engine Google has launched a ‘Namibian’ version of their famous www.google.com.

When Namibian internet users access Google, they are automatically redirected to www.google.com.na. The new site gives users the option of using an Afrikaans version of the Google site.Google is one of the most widely used and useful internet search engines, combing over 3 307 998 701 web pages from more than 200 million search queries a day, more than half of which come from outside the United States.Google has been offering countries around the world a ‘taste’ of home when they access the Google site, with native languages being offered to Germany, Japan, India and many other countries.The new site gives users the option of using an Afrikaans version of the Google site.
