Although there were no major upsets, there were lots of drama and goals galore in the MTC NFA Cup first-round matches at Otjiwarongo and Keetmanshoop over the weekend.

The defending league champions Civics led the way by hammering Major Power 11-0, while Hotspurs, Ramblers, Fedics, Black Africa, Tigers, Oshakati and Orlando Pirates all recorded big victories.
