President Hage Geingob is set to undertake a familiarisation tour to the Erongo region on Wednesday.
Geingob’s itinerary for the day includes visits to several green hydrogen project sites along the coast such as the Walvis Bay Port, the oil storage facilities and the Orano Desalination Plant.
The president will be accompanied by senior government officials, showcasing the importance and priority of these green hydrogen projects in the nation’s development agenda.
The presidency said the primary aim of this visit is to engage and interact with various stakeholders involved in these projects.
