Foschini Group Changes Name

The Foschini Group, which includes Foschini, American Swiss, Markhams, Exact!, Sterns, Donna-Clair, Fashion Express, Sport Scene, TotalSports, RCS and @Home, has informed all its suppliers of an internal restructuring.

Effective from the first of this month, Foschini Services (Pty) Ltd has sold its assets and business to Foschini Retail Group (Pty) Ltd. Therefore all invoices for goods or services supplied to the group after April 1 2004 must be, “correctly addressed to the Foschini Retail Group (Pty) Ltd,” according to the Group Financial Director, Ronnie Stein.He advised that if unsure suppliers should contact the relevant service division as, “failure to comply with this requirement may result in a delay in payment.”Therefore all invoices for goods or services supplied to the group after April 1 2004 must be, “correctly addressed to the Foschini Retail Group (Pty) Ltd,” according to the Group Financial Director, Ronnie Stein.He advised that if unsure suppliers should contact the relevant service division as, “failure to comply with this requirement may result in a delay in payment.”
