A man (41) was arrested on Wednesday night in connection with the killing of Regina Kondombolo (33), whose body was discovered at a residence in Otjomuise Extension 2 on Monday evening.
The man is allegedly Kondombolo’s ex-boyfriend.
“The suspect has been arrested and a murder case has been opened and investigation continues,” national police spokesperson deputy commissioner Kauna Shikwambi says.
According to the police, Kondombolo’s body was discovered at around 18h00 at a house at Otjomuise, after her boyfriend and landlord broke into the residence when they failed to get a response from inside.
The police have confirmed that her next of kin have been informed and that an investigation has been launched.
The suspect is expected to appear in court once investigations are completed.
