National police spokesperson deputy commissioner Kauna Shikwambi says the police seized illegal substances worth about N$1,7 million in April.
Shikwambi said this on Monday.
The substances seized included 167kg of cannabis to the value of about N$1,6 million, mandrax tablets to the value of about N$35 160, 147g of cocaine to the value of N$14 700, and 39 units of cocaine powder to the value of N$19 500.
“A total of 150 suspects, 140 of whom are Namibians, six Angolans, one Congolese, one Zimbabwean, and one Ugandan, were arrested,” she said.
