Derby curtain raiser confirmed

MTC has organised a curtain raiser for the big Katutura Derby between Black Africa and Orlando Pirates on November 5 at the Sam Nujoma Stadium.

According to MTC spokesman Tim Ekandjo, the exhibition match will be held as a treat to supporters who follow Namibian football without fail.The match is scheduled for 14h30 ahead of the league meeting between defending champions Black Africa and Orlando Pirates at 17h00.The two exhibition teams comprise former national team footballers, local celebrities, sport commentators, national leaders and business executives. These players are requested to report for training at the Khomasdal Stadium from October 31 at 18h00 and will spend the whole week preparing for what is anticipated to be an exciting and nostalgic game.
