The Christian Democratic Voice (CDV) has instituted legal action against the Electoral Commission of Namibia over its deregistration.
The CDV’s registration as a political party was cancelled along with the registration of the Namibia Economic Freedom Fighters (NEFF) after both parties failed to submit financial records to the ECN.
The legal action was confirmed by CDV deputy leader bishop Gerson ||Hoebeb on Wednesday.
The NEFF’s deregistration was overturned after the party sued the ECN in the High Court.
This is a developing story.
