Choppies Namibia has launched a competition offering shoppers across the country a chance to win their share of N$1 million in prizes.
The birthday bonanza was launched at Choppies Delhi at Otjomuise on Friday.
“A celebration of this size is only possible because of the suppliers and partners who stand with us. Together, we are giving back to the communities that have made Choppies part of their everyday lives,” Choppies Namibia chief financial officer Hannes Kotze says.
The competition runs until December and is available to customers shopping at any of the retailer’s 25 stores across Namibia.
Customers can enter by providing their first name, surname, phone number and identification number to the cashier when paying for their purchases. The entry process is digital, with no forms required. Participants must be 18 years or older.
Each store will hold its own weekly draw every Saturday at 10h00. The first draw is scheduled for 24 October.
Prizes include Choppies shopping vouchers awarded weekly at every store, as well as cash prizes of N$40 000, N$60 000, N$80 000 and N$120 000. A brand-new Toyota Vitz will be awarded as the grand prize.
The campaign was launched in Namibia, Botswana and Zambia, where Choppies also operates.
Customers can find the full terms and conditions on Choppies Namibia’s social media pages and in its stores.
