China will fund the Namibian Police’s housing project with N$1 billion.
The country will also ensure that a technical team conducts a feasibility study.
This was announced by the Namibian Presidency in a statement on Sunday.
President Nangolo Mbumba travelled to China last week to meet with Chinese president Xi Jinping and to attend the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation in Beijing.
Press secretary Alfredo Hengari said the grant of about N$1 billion is meant to aid the government’s police housing efforts.
