Celebrate Your Heritage!

NEXT week is Namibian Heritage Week, with the theme ‘My Culture, My Pride’.

All museums and national heritage institutions throughout Namibia will participate in National Heritage Week and will present special exhibitions or guided tours through their collections. The National Museum of Namibia will host its Heritage Week from Thursday to Saturday at the Alte Feste Display Centre.The different sections of the National Museum will each present a banner dealing with their collections and activities.All schools and members of the public are invited to attend the presentations daily from 09h00 to 16h30.People who cannot visit the Open Day during the week can attend the presentations on Saturday from 09h00 to 15h00.Museum collections will only be open to the public during Heritage Week after special arrangements have been made with the curators.Any enquiries can be directed to Emma /Uiras, tel.
