The senior national team, the Brave Warriors, will get N$4,1 of the N$15 million received from the Confederation of African Football.
The N$15 million prize money has caused a commotion in football circles, with the Brave Warriors having enlisted the legal services of Kadhila Amoomo.
This comes after the national team progressed to the group of 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations showdown in Ivory Coast earlier this year, where Namibia recorded its first ever victory at the continental spectacle.
Namibia Football Association president Robert Shimooshili made the announcement at a media conference at Gobabis on Monday during the Nedbank Namibian Newspaper Cup.
