Namibia’s Futsal Women’s National Team, the Brave 5 Gladiators, clinched a thrilling 4-3 victory over a Selection team from the Ligue du Grand Casablanca in a warm-up friendly in Casablanca, Morocco on Tuesday.
The match served as a key preparatory fixture ahead of the Futsal Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) 2025.
Namibia’s goals came from a dynamic attacking display, with Memory Ngonda and Muhinatjo Hanavi each netting a brace to secure the win.
The Brave 5 Gladiators will now turn their focus to their Afcon 2025 campaign, kicking off with a high-stakes opening match against host nation Morocco on 22 April 2025 at 20h00.
