Bonsella bounces back

The 'I Do', 'Your Body', 'Molukanda', and 'Kokota' hitmaker recently released his third album, comprising12 tracks.On the album he collaborates with Dama Monique, K Dio, Warforce, and Xiddo.Bonsella says the aim was to work with every good artist in the music industry, and to select three to showcase their talent.He says his latest album encourages people not to focus on the negative, and to rather ignore pain and focus on the positive.“No matter how much the wound hurts, committing suicide is not the solution. Ignore the pain and focus on what makes you feel better,” he says.He says he settled on the album's title because he has suffered and struggled in life.Bonsella started singing in 2019 at the age of 19, after being a dancer for D Kandjafa and other artists.“My album has different genres, like kwaito and Afro-pop. “The album is a bit different from others, because it is the only one with other artists,” he says.It features a song called 'Depression', in which Bonsella advises people to start helping each other to avoid stress and depression. He says he recorded the song after the death of Namibian singer Kanibal.'Okamito', featuring Warforce, is about loyalty and confidence, he says.'Omandjodi', which means 'dreams', advises people to ignore bad dreams and share their problems with others.Bonsella is a journalism and media studies graduate of Triumphant College.
