I have realised that to be among the best, you should be better than them.
Many of us wish for things but we aren’t doing anything to achieve them. You should stop dreaming about success and start working for it.
Someone once said “whatever the mind can conceive, it can achieve”, but it doesn’t mean that you will get whatever you think of. Hard work and determination are all it takes to be the best.
Whether it means wanting to be the best in your school, your family or being the best that there ever can be, stop comparing your life to others. You are running your own race at your own pace.
I’ve asked tons of people what their recipe for being the best is or how they achieved it. They will tell you to study every day. Sometimes, that’s the problem with a person who thinks they are they best; they won’t tell you their recipe because if they spill it, you will be able to surpass them. They know you are capable of it.
Stop looking up to people and start being your own hero. Stop competing with others and start be your own competitor. Start challenging yourself to become the best. Start working towards being the best. No one is ever going to believe you are capable of being the best until you prove them wrong.
From now on, with everything you do, start giving it your best. You can never be the best if you don’t believe you are capable of it. Start associating with people you want to be better than. As the saying goes, don’t go where there is a path, go where there is no path. Set your own trail and leave your own footprints. Start undoubting yourself.
