We all want the world to be a better place but the world will not get any better if nobody makes a change
As we all know we, the youth, are the future of tomorrow so it’s up to us to take a stand and make a change.
As one person, you might not be able to change the world but you can at least change the world of one person. As Mahatma Gandhi once said: “Be the change you wish to see in the world”.
Most of the times we tend to complain about our lives and surroundings not changing, but the question is: Who are you waiting for to make that change?
You can’t always just sit back, complain and expect change to happen while you are doing nothing to make change happen. That’s why I always like to say don’t be the person who always expects change but be the person who will make the change. Silver spoon or wooden spoon, we can all be change-makers. Rather than being a change-seeker, be a change-maker. A quote I read once said: “We are only humans through other humans”.
What’s the use of living if you can’t live for others? If you can’t give up a minute of your time to make a change in someone’s life? To you it might not mean anything but to someone else, it means the world. Stop being selfish and wanting to be happy alone. How can you be happy if someone’s life needs a change-maker and you are that change-maker who doesn’t want to make a change in their lives?
Most times the world won’t remember your successes but they will remember how you treated them and what changes you made in their lives. So my question to you is: How do you want to be remembered?
Do you want to be remembered as a person who only cared for themselves or do you want to be remembered as a change-maker in people’s lives? Rather be remembered as the change-maker.
We are all change-makers; the the question is do we realise it or not?
