What would Big Brother be without all the twists and surprises? The first eviction show took place on Sunday night and boy did Big Brother mix it up.
Three housemates got the boot instead of the expected two. What’s more, the split also saw Zambian step-siblings, Teclar and Maneta, separated. One headed back home and the other to live it up in the Upville house. Tanzanian pair Hilda and Julio also headed home after just one week in the Downville house. Yesterday The Namibian chatted to the newly evicted housemates…Describe your overall experience in the Big Brother House?TeclarI learnt a lot in the house it was really an exhilarating experience meeting different people from all over Africa.HildaMeeting the different people from other countries was a great experience and I enjoyed my time in the house.JulioI really enjoyed meeting and mingling with the different people and being able to represent Tanzania in the house.What’s is next for you after your Big Brother experience? TeclarFor me life goes on, but at home I have an acting career plus I run my own business, so I will continue to with this. I will welcome all endorsements and opportunities that the Big Brother experience has opened for me.HildaLife has to go on. If anything comes up I am open to endorsements deals.JulioBefore I entered the Big Brother house I had a job, so I will be going back to work. I would love to visit countries where the different housemates are from. Maybe I will come to Namibia. How do you feel about leaving so early in the game?TeclarI think it is unfair that I had to leave after only seven days, just when all of us were getting used to the idea and settling into the house. I feel Africa did not get a chance to know the real me. HildaIt was way too short. Africa did not really get to know me, but I’m happy that I got the opportunity to be in the house and represent my country.JulioIt was very short, obviously I wish I could have stayed longer, but that is how the game works, somebody has to leave. Teclar, how do you feel being evicted while your sister remains in the Big Brother House?I really feel bad about that, I wanted us to be there together. I would not have entered without her. Although I am so proud that she still has the opportunity to represent our family and our country.What do you think of the Namibian contestants, Junia and Jessica?TeclarWe only had seven days to get to know everyone in the house, but they both seem like very sweet girls. HildaI loved Junia and Jessica, I look forward to watching them and will definitely be voting for them.JulioI am very happy I met Junia and Jessica, we became very close, I took them as my younger sisters.
