Bank BIC records N$62m loss

The recently released Bank Bic annual results have revealed a loss of N$62 million for the year ended December 2022.

According to the financial results that were released on Wednesday, the bank has been making losses since last year.

The directors have, however, assured that the bank still has enough resources to continue operations.

“In performing the assessment of the group’s ability to continue as a going concern, there is no reason to doubt that the bank has access to adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future,” the report reads.

The group spent N$1,1 million to buy, maintain, or improve its fixed assets, such as buildings, vehicles, and equipment.
