Amapiano king Kabza to school local stars

South African amapiano artist Kabza De Small is set to perform in Windhoek on 11 September, kicking off what promises to be a busy spring entertainment season.

The award-winning producer and DJ will take the stage at The Loft Nightclub as part of an event activation organised by local lifestyle brand ‘Who’s Next’.

The performance serves as a precursor to a larger music festival scheduled for 26 September.

Speaking to The Namibian, ‘Who’s Next’ co-founder Railey Kido says the upcoming visit is designed to extend beyond mere entertainment, focusing on local industry growth.

“It is a collaboration and upskilling of Namibian culture. It is not just about having a good time, and that is why each time we have an event of this magnitude, we also host a masterclass,” he says.

While specific details regarding the masterclass facilitator and venue remain under wraps, Kido urges local artists and music enthusiasts to monitor their official channels for upcoming announcements.

“Without sharing too much information right now, people should keep up with our social media platforms for more updates on what to expect,” he says.
