“I will rest the day I die,” was what the venerable Ottilie Abrahams used to say when questioned about retirement in the past. She died today in a Windhoek hospital following an operation, after being admitted about two weeks.
Abrahams, who was a renowned educator, politician and social activist, founded Jacob Marengo Tutorial College in Katutura in 1985 and was the principal until her death. She was 80 years old.
