ARTISTS and musicians from the Zambezi region will shine thanks to the next edition of ‘Zambezi Night’ which will take place at Katima Mulilo on Saturday, 1 July.
Hosted by Chotofelo, ‘Zambezi Night’ selected a variety of artists from the region to showcase their music and make their voices known.
DJ Siya, organiser of the event, said it was important for artists in the north-east to feel like they also belonged in the music industry. “It’s the first time that a show like this is held at Katima Mulilo. It’s going to be a big night. We want to celebrate artists from around that region.”
With the venue being Ozila Night Club (opposite the park), a newly established club, the event is expected to provide heaps of entertainment to Katima Mulilo’s buzzing night scene and, of course, create new hype around the artists.
“We want to fill up the club and have fun with people at Katima. We invite everyone in the region to come and join us,” DJ Siya further said.
Artists on the line-up include Belle Markasoh, Shanky Briz, Promise, Vuyo Morkado, DJ Munkankara and Aunty Cathy.
The party is expected to start from 19h00.
