Yungskin Skincare Launched in Namibia

The Yungskin skincare range is now available in Namibia, after it was launched at Edgars Grove Mall in Windhoek this week.

The range consists of products such as tissue oil, face mask, eye serum, face serum, face wash, even skin tone cream, day cream, night cream, sun care and kits.

Carl van der Linde, chief executive officer at Yungskin International, says they aim to keep a skincare regime simple and easy to apply. He says their developed and manufactured natural product range is suitable for all skin types, ideal for combination skin, unisex, vegan-friendly and cruelty-free, with no animal testing.

“We believe in simplified skincare. Our products have been designed to fit southern African skin because of the climatic conditions. Our natural skincare range helps one obtain a vibrant, rejuvenated and flawless skin. So, you can be confident and look great without spending lots of time and money on expensive, complicated skincare routines. Our skincare products are for all skin types. Yungskin products have been developed to complement one another and for best results,” he says.

Van der Linde says Yungskin has been in negotiations with Edgars since 2019. Yungskin currently has about 80 stores in South Africa and is now branching out, planning to launch in other Namibian towns such as Swakopmund, Walvis Bay and Oshakati as well.

“Our even skin tone is the most popular among clients. It results in beautiful, flawless skin. Our tissue oil has a heavenly smell. Even though it's an oil, it is not an oily product and does not leave an oily form on the skin. The oil is for deep moisturising, scars and stretch marks. The kits are a combination of products together. You save compared to buying individually,” he says.

At the launch, make-up artist, influencer, model and content creator Rumano Fabrishh was announced as the Namibian brand ambassador.

“I'm humbled and honoured to be the brand ambassador. I'm excited about this journey. I'm passionate about skincare and can't wait to start my skincare journey with Yungskin,” Fabrishh says.

Van der Linde says the brand plans to launch three more body products at the end of this month.

“We've been very busy with testing and the products are finally ready. These products will be body scrub, body lotion and cream butter. Now we can cover the body also. This is something different from our face products,” he says.
