The Namibia National Students Organisation (Nanso) in collaboration with the local youth staged a demonstration against recent incidents of gender-based violence at Keetmanshoop on Friday.
The //Kharas Nanso chairperson, Issaskar Tjandero, urged young people to speak out against violence on women and children on a daily basis.
The student body’s regional coordinator, Raymond Kaffer, said the local youth needs to speak in one voice against the injustices on men, women and children.
“We must stand in solidarity with our fellow Namibians,” he said.
