The Namibia Sport Commission conferred national colours to the Namibia national wrestling team that is on its way to compete at the African Wrestling Championships in Hammamet, Tunisia from 15 to 21 May.
The wrestling team paid a courtesy call to the NSC head office on Friday morning where the wrestlers and officials received their national colours in accordance with the Namibia Sports Act, 2003.
In terms of Section 30, national colours were granted to the following athletes and officials:
Charlo Dreyer, Darian Mouton, Lazares Haimbodi, Lafras Uys, Viriano Nguatjiti, Ester Abraham, Alex Haininga, Romio Goliath, Luis Forcelledo (team coach), Kahima Uakotoka (team manager).
