The naked body of an unidentified woman was discovered with multiple stab wounds in a riverbed at Usakos near the town council buildings on Friday morning.
This was confirmed by police spokesperson deputy commissioner Kauna Shikwambi.
According to Shikwambi, a passer-by alerted the police after finding the woman’s body.
“The deceased is not yet identified and the suspect or suspects are still unknown. The investigation team is currently on the scene,” Shikwambi says.
This is a developing story and the police say investigations into the murder are ongoing.
