A woman (31) was stabbed to death at Henties Bay on Tuesday night.
She has been identified as Justina Iimbili.
Chief police inspector Elifas Kuwinga says Iimbili was allegedly murdered by her boyfriend (53).
The suspect, who is currently under strict police guard in hospital, allegedly tried to end his life by drinking battery acid.
Iimbili’s next of kin have been informed of the incident.
Police investigations continue.
