Woman raped, robbed at Oshikukuma village

A woman (37) was allegedly raped and robbed on Friday at around 20h00 in the Oshikuku constituency.

This was confirmed by police spokesperson Kauna Shikwambi in the weekend crime report.

The alleged suspect took a knife and threatened the victim before raping her, said Shikwambi.

It is further alleged that the suspect robbed the victim of her cellphone, valued at N$300.

No recovery or arrest has been made.

Police investigations continue.

At Uis, a man (45) was arrested after he allegedly attempted to rape a woman on Friday.

It is alleged that a neighbour heard noises and went to the scene. As soon as the suspect noticed someone, he fled.
