A woman (42) was arrested at Aus in the ǁKharas region after allegedly raping a woman (58) at Khaubeb location on Friday afternoon.
According to national police spokesperson deputy commissioner Kauna Shikwambi, the alleged rape took place at around 16h00 on 3 April.
“The victim and the suspect were taken to Lüderitz State Hospital for medical examination and completion of the rape kit. The suspect has been arrested,” Shikwambi says in a police report released on Monday.
There is no domestic relationship involved. Police investigation are continuing.
