Elizabeth Simon (31), from Okapya KaMbidhi village in the Omusati region, was allegedly killed after being hit with a piece of iron on the head by her boyfriend.
The incident happened on Sunday.
Omusati police crime investigation coordinator Malakia Simaho reported that the suspect, Johannes Shikongo (38), proceeded to hang the the deceased from the roof of her shack before he took his own life.
“The two were allegedly seen fighting on Friday evening by their neighbours who passed by their house. The motive for the fight is unknown. The deceased was a domestic worker in the homestead of the suspect’s parents,” reported Simaho.
