Woman (84) robbed in Windhoek

AN 84-year-old woman was held at knifepoint and robbed at about 09h00 last Thursday in Nissen-Lass Street in Windhoek’s Pionierspark.

Salothe Elsie Grabouw was tied up by two unknown men who entered her home through the front door. They opened the safe and stole two revolvers, a shotgun, an airgun, jewellery and N$2 000 in cash.No arrests have been made.* At about 09h15 on the same day, a man and his wife were held at gunpoint in Flamingo Street, Hochland Park.Two men armed with pistols, stole their white Toyota Land Cruiser with registration number N2429GO.The assailants drove up behind the couple with a white Volkswagen Polo.No arrests have been made.They opened the safe and stole two revolvers, a shotgun, an airgun, jewellery and N$2 000 in cash.
