The Wine Festival, which has become an annual tradition, this weekend celebrated the Wine Shop and Wine Bar’s 20th birthday.

With a blend of fine wines, chocolates, a braai, and music, the event was held on 3 and 4 November.

The highlight of the event was the wine tasting sessions. Guests had the privilege of savouring an extensive selection of wines from the participating estates.

The celebration featured 14 wine estates, each showcasing their finest wines.

Among them were Cederberg Vineyard, Rustenberg Wine, Steenberg Vineyards, and Man Family Wines.

These names gathered to pay tribute to the Wine Shop’s commitment to the art of wine making.

Jean Nel from Cederberg and Ghost Corner winery said events like the Wine Festival boost gaining exposure and expanding into other countries.

“It’s nice to be out here and to share our wines, and just to show people what we have to offer. We just want to showcase our wines and share it with other people who love wine,” he said.
