Affirmative Repositioning (AR) leader Job Amupanda has proposed the removal of all constituency councillors within Windhoek’s boundaries, arguing that they serve no meaningful purpose.
Speaking to Nampa recently about his plans for a more effective and service-oriented Windhoek, Amupanda stated that the local authority landscape must change.
He suggested that constituency councillors within the capital city either be integrated into the municipal council or appointed to serve the public alongside the local authority.
