Predominantly, education is defined as the ability to present academicknowledge. When an individual has the credentials in a particularbranch of learning, he/she is often perceived as being educated.
Yes, we need an educated nation. However, do our educated people
positively contribute to society? Are they always ready to blend into
society and do what is normally accepted? I mean, are they good
examples?
Sources of knowledge vary. We have people who did not receive any
formal education but are some consequential examples in society. It is
not only about bookish facts but also the wider and deeper insight of
the contemporary world. People should confirm their educational
standards without overlooking good behavioural patterns. The worth of
your education will not only be judged by your qualifications but also
your attitude.
Educational qualifications do not always substantiate that someone has
the ethics to behave well. Our society is still failing to act
maturely; the sense of sensitivity and manners is still a wish. My
heart weeps for more well-behaved people. People that have the
fundamental capacity of thinking clearly, people who are willing to
learn how to learn, people who are able to use their education to
relate to people of various backgrounds, interests and beliefs in order
to have the acceptance of cultural diversity and an understanding of
different individual attitudinal engagements, people who are always
striving for fair judgements. People who are to be regarded as
educated.
I personally think that it is appropriate to appreciate everyone’s
knowledge, academic or not. Do not think someone is inferior because he
or she is different from you. Treat everyone with respect. Our norms
