Who Is Accountable?

IT is with great concern that we as ordinary Namibians look to our future.We feel betrayed and deprived of our security – our monthly contributions to the SSC are supposed to help us in future – millions of taxpayer’s money is lost due to corruption.

We demand swift and accurate investigation into all the scandalous corruption cases. Don’t talk of “mismanagement” of funds – corruption is stealing our hard-earned money – no other terms should be used.Namibians demand intervention by President Pohamba.Corruption has to be stopped NOW.The perpetrators have to account for the “mismanagement” and heads will have to roll to set an example.President Mbeki sacked his Vice President after it became clear that he was involved in corrupt dealings.What makes Namibians untouchable? A hungry person steals food in a supermarket and will most probably be sent to jail – 30 years for stealing a goat.What is a fair verdict/punishment for stealing millions?
