Windhoek’s entertainment scene was buzzing on Saturday as two major events drew large crowds, blending international stars with local talent.
At the Sizzling Summer show, South African performer Focalistic headlined a lively programme that kept audiences dancing late into the night.
He was joined by local acts that added their own energy, showcasing a mix of established names and emerging talent. The show attracted a packed crowd, underscoring the city’s appetite for live performances.
Meanwhile, the Balcony Mix at Wanderers Sports Ground offered an all-day programme that combined music, performance, and community activities.
Soul Brothers opened with a nostalgic set, followed by Kido, Tumi Mohamed, and Oscar Mbo.
DJs Dreas and Luudadeejay built the energy before Morda impressed with his mixing skills. The duo Sam Deep and Stinx kept the momentum high, and Major League DJZ closed the night with a finale that had the audience on their feet.
The event also featured karate demonstrations, providing a contrast to the music and showcasing discipline and skill.
The organisers say the variety of acts reflected the event’s emphasis on community spirit and cultural exchange.
