WHEN the Apartheid South African government brutally murdered Steve Biko, the civilised world expressed their horror, not only at the murder, but equally so at the savage inhumanity of the relevant minister, Jimmy Kruger, when he expressed his official government position, ‘his death leaves me cold’.
Now we have the brutal murder of a rather ruthless dictator, Muammar Gaddafi, but nothing can remotely compare to the savage inhumanity officially articulated by Kruger. The Secretary of State of the USA, Hillary Clinton… This must surely go down as the most obscene, vulgar, ‘quotable quote’ of the century, if not of all time. ‘We came, we saw, he died, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.’ Do view the video of the killing of Gaddafi and then watch the video of Hillary laughing it up officially. The ‘civilised’ world is gently asking for ‘full details’ of how Gaddafi died at the hands of the NATO/USA led soldiers of the Libyan NTC, after he was captured alive. The same civilised world and human rights activists are, by their deafening silence, approving the statement by Hillary Clinton.May the Namibian media take the lead in classifying the statement as vile and unbecoming of civilised human beings.
