Ingo Waldschmidt won the final leg of the Bank Windhoek Namibia Motorsport Federation Enduro Championship in dramatic fashion, after passing Bjorn Bierbrauer with only 3km to go.
Waldshmidt took the lead from the start but was soon passed by Bierbrauer who seemed to be heading for victory before his bike broke down merely 3km from the finishing line. Waldschmidt passed him and went on to win the race as well as the Bank Windhoek National Enduro Championship 2010 in Class 2.
The race took place in the Karibib district where the riders had to cover five laps of 52km rounds. A mix of rocks and river beds made for some tough racing with the heat adding to the difficulty. Racing got underway with 68 entries and the scene was set for some great action with championship titles to be decided in many classes.
