LANGER Heinrich Uranium (LHU) and the Blue Waters Sport Club of Kuisebmond, Walvis Bay, have joined forces, with LHU becoming the club’s official sponsor with a cash injection of N$100 000.
The club’s soccer team is currently playing in the Namibian Premier League.’Our goal is to foster the development of sport among young people of the Erongo Region and sport in general,’ said LHU General Manager, Werner Duvenhage.’Blue Waters has shown a strong interest in youth development and this is what motivated us to partner with them in this endeavour.’The parties recently concluded a sponsorship agreement whereby they agreed that the mining company would contribute the cash, a 14-seater minibus and players’ uniforms for the 2010 season.
