The University of Namibia (Unam) has congratulated education minister Sanet Steenkamp on being conferred a doctoral degree.
Steenkamp graduated with a doctorate in education leadership and management from Rhodes University in South Africa on Friday.
Unam describes Steenkamp’s accomplishment as both a personal triumph and a source of national pride, saying it reflects the value of visionary leadership in education.
“This milestone is not only a personal triumph for minister Steenkamp but also an inspiration for Namibia, showcasing the importance of visionary leadership in education,” the university says in a social media post.
