The Swapo Party Youth League has paid tribute to Swapo parliamentarian James Uerikua, describing him not just as a political leader, but as a humble servant of the people he served.
In a message of tribute issued on Friday, the youth league said his impact will be felt for generations.
“His dedication and guidance touched countless lives and inspired a generation to serve with purpose,” the message reads.
The youth league said Uerikua’s ‘relentless’ passion for development and the upliftment of young people distinguished him as a leader who led with purpose.
The league extended its condolences to his family, friends and comrades, adding that his legacy will endure through the lives he inspired and the communities he served.
“May his soul rest in peace,” the youth league said.
