Just about a kilometre from where then Grade 11 pupil, Magdalena Stoffels’ body was discovered, on 27 July 2010, the lifeless bodies of two women were found in Khomasdal today.
Police have cordoned off an area between Hermann Gmeiner and Elim primary schools with a sizeable crowd looking on.
A passerby informed police that as he was going through the river towards his house he saw a person in jeans and a white vest, holding a red shirt in his hand running towards him. He also heard a person struggling for air close by.
Suspecting foul play he ran after the person up to the traffic lights at the corner of the Windhoek Vocational Centre, about 500m from the river, where the person allegedly boarded a taxi at the robots.
The passerby ran to the river where he found the bodies. He then rushed home to call the police.
One of the persons found dead at the scene was wearing the uniform of Augustinium High School and is believe to be a Grade 12 pupil.
The other is believed to be an older woman.
The police have so far refused to comment on the incident.
