A man (35) allegedly took his own life at Omuthitugwonyama village in the Okalongo constituency on Saturday.
This was confirmed by police spokesperson Kauna Shikwambi in the weekend crime report on Saturday afternoon.
According to Shikwambi, Immanuel Ndangi Iiyambo’s body was discovered on Saturday at around 17h00.
He allegedly left home at around 16h00 to head to the cuca shops.
Shikwambi confirmed that Iiyambo’s next of kin have been informed and police investigations are continuing.
In a separate incident at Aussenkehr in the //Kharas region, Fillipus Kotokeni Lasarus (31) was discovered inside a single-room thatched house at Block 5 on Saturday around 14h20.
Shikwambi said no foul play is suspected.
