Two men were arrested at Ondangwa over the weekend for the possession of containers of petrol according to police inspector Pendukeni Haikali’s weekend report.
A 39-year-old man was arrested after he was found in possession of eight 25-litre containers filled with petrol, with a total value of N$4 578. He was scheduled to appear in the Ondangwa Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
Another 33-year-old man was also arrested at Ondangwa on the same date after being found with five 25-litre containers filled with petrol, valued at N$3 199. He also appeared in the Ondangwa Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
Police investigations are ongoing in both cases.
