Two security guards appeared in the Eenhana Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday for the assault of a 15-year-old boy at the Eenhana Expo last week.
The suspects’ names are Setter Jonas Hashipala, a 31-year-old Namibian male, and Nghipulwa Fillipus Nghidinihamba, a 29-year-old Namibian male.
They were granted bail of N$2 000 each while the case was postponed to 25 January 2024.
Both guards were arrested on Monday following an assault case lodged by the boy’s mother immediately after the incident.
The young boy was beaten by the guards, who were manning the entrance gate of the expo, after he allegedly attempted to sneak a friend in.
